Math Enrichment-December 20

No bell-ringer
Directions: Below are the lyrics to "The 12 Days of Christmas." Your job is to determine how much it would cost to buy all that is listed in the song today. Realize that you will have to multiple the price of a "partridge in a pear tree" twelve times because it is given on each day of Christmas. Research what each thing will cost. You may have to get creative. For instance, you can't buy nine ladies dancing legally, but you could rent a dance team. For the "maids a milking" you will have to figure out how much a milk cow will cost and minimum wage for each worker per day.
You will need to write down where you will buy (or rent) each gift and how much they will cost.
